Two steps forward

After one year since the beginning of this portfolio, it's finally on its way to completion. It's been a few long days portfolioing. My first print portfolio was completed this weekend. It cost $$$ to print, but it was well worth it. 12"x18" cut down for 11"x17" full bleed and spiral wire bound. Initially i was going to have it regular spiral bound, but the printer convinced me to go with wire which was a much better choice. You can download the print portfolio at Download Here

Phase one is the completion of the portfolio section with most of the xHtml structure finalized and the CSS completed. It's a shame that It will be a bit before I start using PNG images since the hack for IE renders my text un-selectable.

Phase two is the integration a blog engine such as b2Evolution or WordPress.

Phase 3 maybe a redesign of this site or the addition of some script to add in a function that I have wanted to work on. That would be to have the portfolio section fold up accordion style, showing just the images of my artifacts and expanding out to give the rest of the details. I might make some use of dynamic loading (AJAX style) to keep file size down.

It's done! RFID: Concept Presentation
Thursday, December 08, 2005 | 3:30pm

After many long hours awake preparing our presentation, we are finally done our final presentation for class. I'm proud of the project and my team for pulling this project together. It's almost a fully marketable concept in which I'll be focusing on for my MTEC paper.
